How it all began...
We met when our then-3 children (now 6!) attended the same Mandarin immersion school in Boston, Little Panda.
One evening, we got together over hotpot (shoutout to Haidilao! 🍲) and talked about our aspirations and goals for us and for our families.
Soon after, when Little Panda closed their doors due to COVID-19 in 2020, we were left scrambling to find our own Mandarin resources for our children. This is when A Little Chinese was born. 🌱 We spent many late nights 🌙brainstorming what products we wanted to create for our kids.
The products you see here today, whether physical (poster sets and board books) or digital (learning videos and songs) are a culmination of not just the hard work we've put in, but also the relationships we have built with one another, and the support we have received from our husbands and children. 👨👩👦👦

A Family Affair
Running a small business is truly a magical, crazy, chaotic family affair!
We were lucky enough to get together for Christmas / New Year 2024.
In this picture, not everyone is looking at the camera, and our best angles have not been captured, but we wouldn't change it for the world!
What Comes Next?
We already truly feel so lucky to be doing what we do.
If we had to envision a future for ourselves, we'd love to continue creating content in every format that caters to the ever-changing ages of our children.
We want to build something huge that we can look back on with pride -- we might be halfway there already!
